The AIChE Marketing team is responsible for the discovery, design, development and delivery of AIChE’s marketing initiatives, working closely with cross-functional groups within AIChE. The Senior Marketing Associate is a connector and problem-solver. A team player who focuses on goals and outcomes with other departments to produce creative results and help develop plans and initiatives that consider data, feedback and best practices into account.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Associate will achieve the following objectives:
Develop marketing strategies and tactics for AIChE market segments in line with organization objectives
Manage projects and campaigns, which support various goals, including virtual and in-person conferences, education, membership (webinars, eLearning courses, and other courses) and other product areas
Collaborates with the Communications team on messaging to retain and acquire new members by developing content.
Utilize data and context from various sources (Google Data Studio and Informz) to drive strategic marketing messages, both internally and externally
Serve as the initial contact for projects and initiatives within the marketing team
Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including, content ideation, and adherence to implementation schedules
Research industry & association trends, competitive products, innovations, and best practices to identify and recommend growth opportunities
Skills
Strong knowledge in digital, social, content, and strategy
Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables through good communication and use of processes
Build and sustain relationships with all levels of employees and customers
Skilled in creating reports, i.e., Excel, Smart Sheet a plus
Adept at creating PowerPoint presentations

Undergraduate degree and/or graduate degree in marketing
4+ years of relevant experience
