St. Francis School is a co-ed, non-denominational, Independent School founded in the Progressive tradition that is committed to equity and justice and located on two campuses in Louisville, Kentucky. St. Francis School seeks a Director of Advancement, which is a key School leadership position that splits time between the two campuses. This position oversees all the fundraising and constituent relations aspects of the school and acts as the leader of our Capital Campaign. In addition, the position oversees the overall image and brand of the School and manages the creation and placement of all advertising, marketing, PR, and communications, with three direct reports including the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, the Director of Annual Giving and Events, and the Director of Alumni and Stewardship. We seek candidates who are passionate, energetic, and outgoing; possess outstanding oral and written communication skills; enjoy working collaboratively; and have an interest in developing and practicing cultural competence. At minimum, a B.A./B.S., 5 years’ experience in Marketing and Communications, and 10 years' experience in Development, including Major Gifts experience, are required.
