Manager will be responsible for execution of strategies designed to help Ameriprise financial advisors deliver an industry leading client experience. This person will help lead the development of advisor training, communications, implementation strategies, and resource creation related to client service. Interaction with advisors and field leadership for research and pilots will be required to inform client needs and strategies. In addition, this person will partner with digital marketing business owners, field support teams, service delivery, and corporate communications among others.
The Client Engagement Manager position will be responsible for development and execution of key strategies and tactics within the Client Acquisition & Retention department related to enhancing client service. A primary focus will be around advisor to client interaction and development of marketing strategies related to how advisors create a meaningful experience journey for clients and prospects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Creation and delivery of resources and training based on advisor/client research and internal thought leadership related to delivery of premium client service experience. Examples include virtual meeting capabilities, staff training, creation of workflows, tracking and reporting, awards & recognition, etc. • Serve as subject matter expert for client facing digital tools & capabilities and how advisors can use them to enhance and scale their client service models. This includes things like advisor CRM (Salesforce), virtual meetings, and communication systems. Establishing connection points to related client acquisition and retention strategies by partnering with other members of the Marketing Field Engagement team will be critical. • Design and development of client facing collateral for advisor client acquisition, retention, and experience strategies. • Assist in creation of internal presentations to outline strategic vision, progress towards goals, competitive landscape, and regular execution updates to executive leadership teams and related stakeholders. • Drive key projects from concept to launch including working cross organizationally, ensuring timelines, budgets and commitments are met, while providing exceptional communication to team members, leaders and stakeholders throughout the process.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. • 3-5 years of marketing program, sales, or business development skills or equivalent. • Experience working in a business to business to consumer sales model (B2B2C). • Experience with content design and creation (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign). • Ability to develop strategies based on deep-dive analysis and presenting findings to leadership. • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships across all levels within and across the organization. • Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting management, and presentation skills. • Proven success in implementing large projects with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and goals.
• Degree focus in Marketing. • Consulting experience. • Strong analytic skills, experience managing large amounts of data and detailed knowledge of Excel. • Experience driving engagement goals through a sales organization or financial services institution. • FINRA Series 7 License.
