The Director, Data Strategy and Analytics will report to the VP Data Strategy and Analytics (or Senior Director Data Strategy and Analytics) and will sell more complex products into new and existing accounts. S/he will collaborate with the vertical market leaders, account teams and business development teams to execute market penetration strategies for specific strategic initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with Sales Teams to execute upon market penetration strategies for specific strategic initiatives including sales of Market Insight Reports, Custom Analytics, Abacus Data Overlay/Install, TotalSource Plus Data Enhancement/Install, MarketView and Online Data Enhancement/Installs
Director will:
Pre-qualify and prioritize opportunities within the existing account base
Support Account Management to scope opportunities
Develop solution proposal, test and rollout plan, pricing and ROI
Manage the opportunity pipeline, including managing opportunities throughout the sales process (including contracts) and reporting on status
Work with Production Services and Technical Product Management to ensure research and jobs are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure analytical support is provided and proper analysis of results is completed
Help compile and present results to the client
Ensure timely and complete transition of closed accounts to Account Management
Provide feedback to Product Manager regarding product features, enhancements, pricing, positioning, and required sales materials/support

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
The successful candidate for this position must have:
Minimum of 10 years of account management type of experience within the marketing/advertising industry
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to identify and select the optimal data elements for clients business needs
Ability to translate data and analysis into actionable insights
Strong understanding of the Co-op business model and the Abacus Alliance
Strong understanding of TotalSource Plus and the compiled data marketplace
Strong understanding of marketing analytics
Undergraduate degree in business. Graduate degree preferred.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving revenue and operational targets
Ability to identify strategic business development opportunities and mobilize the appropriate resources to exploit them effectively
Strong organizational knowledge of Epsilon and understanding of products
Ability to work across teams in a complex highly matrixed organization
